EFFETS DE LA PAUVRETE MONETAIRE SUR LA QUALITE DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT DANS LES PAYS DE LA COMMUNAUTE ECONOMIQUE DES ETATS DE L’AFRIQUE CENTRALE (CEEAC)

Résumé


Cet article analyse les effets de la pauvreté monétaire sur la qualité de l’environnementale dans les pays de la CEEAC. Pour les traiter, nous avons utilisé un modèle PMG à partir d’un échantillon comprenant onze (11) pays pour la période allant de 2000 à 2020. Les résultats révèlent, d’une part, qu’à court terme, la pauvreté monétaire dans ces pays n’a aucun effet sur la qualité de l’environnement, et qu’il y a, d’autre part, qu’à long terme, la pauvreté monétaire influence négativement la qualité de l’environnement dans les pays de la CEEAC. Toutefois, ces résultats ont donné lieu à des implications de politique économique.
