MODE D’ACCÈS À LA TERRE : QUELS SONT LES EFFETS SUR LA PRODUCTIVITÉ DES AGRICULTEURS CONGOLAIS ?

L’objet du présent article est d’analyser le mode d’accès à la terre et de s’interroger sur les effets sur la productivité des agriculteurs congolais. À cette fin, l’objectif de ce travail est d’évaluer les effets du mode d’accès à la terre sur la productivité agricole. Pour y atteindre nous avons utilisé une méthode à variables instrumentales. Les estimations sont réalisées sur un échantillon de 2960 ménages agricoles à partir de la base de données du secteur agricole (ESA, 2011). Les résultats obtenus montrent que l’accès à la terre, par fermage, par prêt, par attribution coutumière et par autre mode, influence négativement la productivité et que l’accès à la terre par achat n’a pas d’effets sur la productivité agricole en République du Congo.
