RESISTANCE AUX QUINOLONES DES BACTERIES RESPONSABLES D’INFECTIONS URINAIRES AU CENTRE HOSPITALIER ET UNIVERSITAIRE DE BRAZZAVILLE
Résumé
Objectif : Evaluer la résistance des bactéries isolées des urines vis-à-vis des quinolones.
Matériel et méthodes : Il s’agit d’une étude transversale, prospective, descriptive et analytique réalisée entre juillet et février 2013 (7 mois), chez les adultes hospitalisés ou vus en externe au centre hospitalier et universitaire de Brazzaville (CHUB). Elle a porté sur les bactéries isolées des urines. Un antibiogramme a été réalisé par la méthode de diffusion en milieu gélosé, avec des quinolones : la ciprofloxacine (5μg), l’acide nalidixique (30 μg), la péfloxacine (5μg), l’ofloxacine (5μg), la norfloxacine (5μg).
Résultats : L’âge moyen des patients était de 48,2 ±19,02 (extrêmes 18 ans et 83 ans). Cent onze sujets (60 %) étaient de sexe féminin (sex ratio F/M = 1,5). La résistance aux quinolones variait entre 20 et 67 %. Aucune différence significative n’était notée sur la résistance entre les sujets externes et ceux hospitalisés (p < 0,05).
Conclusion : La résistance aux quinolones est présente à un taux élevé. Il est important de sensibiliser la population sur les dangers de l’automédication.
