EFFETS DE LA POLITIQUE MONÉTAIRE SUR LA BALANCE DES PAIEMENTS DES PAYS DE LA COMMUNAUTÉ ÉCONOMIQUE ET MONÉTAIRE D’AFRIQUE CENTRALE

Résumé


L’objectif de cet article est d’analyser les effets de la politique monétaire sur la balance des paiements. Pour l’atteindre, nous utilisons un panel statique basé sur un échantillon de six (6) pays, pour une période de 30 ans. Ainsi, nous montrons que la politique monétaire contribue à l’amélioration de la balance des paiements. En effet, le TIAO, le taux de change, les avoirs extérieurs affectent positivement et significativement la balance des paiements. Par contre, les crédits à l’économie affectent négativement la balance des paiements.
